I hired Phil Ransome to sue another lawyer. He led me to believe he would. Dragged the case on for 7 years and then discontinued it. I sued him in small claims court and won the full judgement of $25,000 plus costs. He refuses to go through his malpractice insurance to pay me and is giving me $1000 per month for 25 months. I am not happy with this arrangement. I have found that the Law Society of BC is there not for the public but to protect bad lawyers.
