I'm struggling to come up with anything positive about Ari. He doesn't understand some of his professional responsibilities, which results in sloppy work and risky practices. And, when questioned, he's arrogant and condescending - becomes a bit of a bully. His firm specialises in condo purchases but there are much better lawyers available than him.

I recently came across this site and felt the need to rate Ari. I question the integrity of the positive ratings given that a number of them are on the same day, the balance the following day, with the last positive one in the same week! At any rate, my opinion of Ari is that he is "ok" if you are just making a simple buying or selling real estate transaction. Things get rather interesting when you ask Ari to represent your interests against a developer. He will not! Initially I felt that it stemmed from incompetence. I later found out that Ari doesn't like to rock the boat with any developer as he hopes to get business with them. Ari will breach his fiduciary duty to you as a client, for this own financial interests with developers. The tricky part is that developers don't keep him busy full time and he ends up doing buying and selling transactions, that at times involve conflicts with developers. It's a rather interesting position that was not of any help to me. My advice: AVOID ARI

My husband and I used Ari's services for the sale of our home. He was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable. He made the whole process of selling our home effortless. We would not hesitate to recommend Ari Katz to our family and friends.

As a first time home buyer a few years ago, Ari was patient with me as I had a million questions and concerns regarding my new home. My family also had the pleasure of working with Ari recently for their properties and just like me, they all find him to be knowledgeable and reliable. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends, and to anyone who seeks professionalism and efficiency!

I've worked with Ari since he began with Harris Sheaffer. I have worked him on both personal and corporate levels and have always been very happy with his work. I found Ari articulate, dedicated, and able to cover all aspects in his specialty. He is my preferred lawyer to deal with at the firm.

This guy sends meaningless letters on behalf of developers without even reading nor understanding the other side's legal position. His position has no legal merit; just pure ignorance and arrogance. Stay away from this guy.

While Ari represents the interests of his developer clients, there is a fine line between representing the developer’s interests and being unethical and on the wrong side of the law. Ari definitely crosses that line. If you wish to conduct unethical business, this lawyer is for you. If you are an honest law abiding and honourable person, avoid this lawyer at all costs.
