I submitted my intaking form to Shapiro indicating my mortgage would be funded by TD. On my closing day, to my great horror, TD branch told me that Gary Shapiro is actually blacklisted (ineligible) by TD because of his past behaviour. I had to find a new lawyer on spot under great amount of stress. Gary Shapiro blamed me for not telling him about my situation and told me I could have presented to TD his son, who was also a lawyer that had not yet been blacklisted by TD. Was I supposed to know about his son?! He wanted to charge me for the work he had already performed for me but ended up waiving the fee. However, it did not justify the stress that I endured.

Worst experience in purchasing my first property. Never replied to my emails, voicemails or texts. His staff lacked organization and were NOT detailed oriented. I recommend to NOT use his services.
