I just got off the phone with him. I had a basic inquiry on wills. Initially he didn't understand the basic scenario I succinctly presented. He then kept posing resolution to a different scenario, not the one I presented. He was put off when I kept saying, "That's not the situation, it's this..." He was vague, condescending, didn't appear the least bit interested to help. Aloof. I'd never hire him. The poster above suggested perhaps he doesn't care for women. I'm a woman and after how he spoke to me, it's a fair assumption. As well, like she wrote above, he does seem angry.

This lawyer which was we used previously to do a Will was called to make some important changes under emergency end of life request. He lagged in responding to call and home visit even though he was told it was urgent, ignored explanatory emails which were sent to save him time, came unprepared no ready paperwork or tape recorder, no eye contact with family or dying person, zero communication just wrote on his pad of paper, didn't show up on the day he said he'd be in with changes, gave wrong information to us saying that the new WESA law didn't apply to us when it did, and ended up not doing the work when time was of the essence and it ended up costing us a great deal of more money in the end with Probate fees because the property transfer wasn't filed in time. Seemed very unfocused and mad at the world or at least at us women in the house.
