Ironically I retained Kronfeld to preserve malpractice claims. He did not know or apply the law. He did not file one piece of evidence that he said he was preparing. He did not sign his name to the last submission such that it was stricken. He did not open his mouth to protect me from spurious allegations that I am litigious when I have never been a plaintiff. Referencing the "litigious history of the parties", the court ordered a partial distribution of assets contingent upon signing a waiver releasing the right to bring litigation. I did not sign it (so received nothing). Knowing he left me broke, Kronfeld then brought a lawsuit for his fees and hired another "super lawyer" to defend him from me, a pro se litigant. He tried to charge me an additional $32,000 for his lawsuit against me. After 21 months the court finally acknowledged it could not force me to sign a waiver and I received my money - past the statute of limitations to bring any action. I lost millions.

He gave me excellent advice on what to do about another attorney's misconduct/malpractice. His advice confirmed some of the research I'd already done, but he put my mind at ease by giving me practical, insightful advice on what steps to take to resolve my problem. Compared to other lawyers I've dealt with in the past 15 years, he was very forthright, honest, and down to earth. He reminded me of our family lawyer when I was growing up: genuinely concerned and extremely competent.
