We procured the services of Olaf Landsgaard in December of 2014 for a flat fee of $650 to perform a property title change. The many times that we called the office he was unavailable, or out of the office. Many calls, and e-mails were never returned, but we finally got through to him on a Saturday by calling from a number that he wouldn’t recognize. He made many excuses, and promises. The forms that he finally produced after two months were unusable, outdated, and contained inaccurate information. We never received a running expense either, so I mailed him a request for a complete accounting of the expenses incurred since receiving the $650 in legal fees. I finally received in the mail the week of February 26, 2015 a felonious invoice totaling $1,140.50 for legal services that were never received. Some of his possible violations are: US Codes Title 18, Chapter 63, Sec.1341-Mail Fraud, Sec.1346-Scheme or Artifice to Defraud; State Bar Codes 1-120, 3-110, 3-500, 4-100, 4-200,and 5-220.
