Decided to hire him after I seen him in Court when I went to support a friend of mine. He is super calm and easy to talk to but is aggressive in court when needed. Very professional office and staff too!

A friend of mine suggested that I go see Joel when I decided to leave my abusive husband after over 20 years of marriage. When I first saw Joel I was a nervous wreck. He spoke to me about all of my options and assured me that everything would be okay. I met with him several times after retaining him and I always felt better after speaking to him. I can see that Joel has a lot of great reviews and I agree with them. He is smart and confident and he was dedicated to protecting me throughout the entire process. He represented me at Mediation so I did not have to sit in the same room as my husband and we were able to get my entire case finished in just a few months. I can not thank him enough for all of his help.

I had two separate lawyers retire on me. Joel took over my file from Nancy Pringle when she retired on short notice in Septemebr. I was extremely stressed but Joel met with me right away and set a plan moving forward. I never felt like I knew where my file was going with Nancy. We would meet time and time again, but nothing ever moved forward and all I got were massive bills. It only took a few months from the time I first met with Joel until the time my case was completely settled. I felt like for the first time in years I had a lawyer who actually set a plan moving forward and who gave me actual legal advice. I was really nervous when Nancy retired but it turned out to be a blessing!

Joel is amazing! He did more for me in a few months than other lawyers have done for me in years. My case was complicated and my last lawyer made a mess of everything. Joel told me exactly what needed to be done and in the end I got my son back! I cannot thank him enough!!

Joel is a wonderful person and an exceptional lawyer. He is very knowledgeable and moved things along quickly and effectively. Communication was great, and I trusted his good judgement all throughout my case. I truly couldn't have asked for a more competent and compassionate lawyer. Highly recommend!

Joel The Quitter. Joel threw my case for a good Top and Political favor, maybe cash, My children are apparently expendable as long as the right deal is struck. He knows my x is abusive but quit to leave them there. Joel antionette also said, after i said I had 300 dollars a month to live on suggested i take my family of 5 out to a restaurant 2 to three times a month. I can aporeciate you have lived a sheltered and priviled life life Joel, But Let them eat cake !!! Lastly Joel said " You kbow what people with mental health issues cant do ? hold a job" Although i have mental divergence and was holding a job, so which part isnt true Joel, so you mean to defend my mental health status and deny it as opposed to believing I could be a great parent regardless. So Pathethic. Hope you like your new club Joel, you paid for it with my kids happiness. Severely dreamland guy with no sense of reality did not return emails did not do a good job. Is not a good lawyer, prob is cushy with CAS Now.

I agree with others on here. He's polite and professonal with top-notch staff. Settled my case without an endless court battle or dragging things out forever. He is a very busy man and it's no wonder why because he is good at what he does.

Joel helped me during the Covid! My son was being kept from me for over three weeks by my ex because he said he needed to isolate with my son but Joel had us in Court in a week and I got my son back!!

My husband and I hired Joel for an adoption. He did everything we needed done. The entire process took way less time and money than I originally anticipated (especially given what I have heard about other lawyers charging tens of thousands of dollars for simple cases). There aren't a lot of lawyers that do adoptions in town, but even if there was a hundred I would recommend Joel. He was extremely nice and professional. He explained the whole process so my husband and I could understand. I can't thank him and his hardworking team enough!

Friendly but straightforward and to the point. He told me exactly what we needed to do for my case and then did. His staff are great to deal with. The total cost was reasonable, especially based on what I hear people spend on lawyers in town. Would definitely recommend!

I hired Joel when I discovered my ex had been abusing our children. While Joel was as pleasant as could be with me, he was very aggressive with my ex and I felt like he had my children's best interests at heart. I always felt better after talking to Joel

No nonsense and very smart. I've had two other family lawyers in town and he worked faster than both of my other lawyers. His staff are great. I finally felt like I had someone fighting for me.

I can't say enough good things about Joel. He got me emergency custody of my kids from a crazy ex who could not stay sober and harassed me every day even while i was at work. He was very up front with me about the possible outcomes of my case. In the end i won because of Joel my ex never stood a chance. HIGHLY recommend him to everyone!

He saved me from having to pay a ton of alimony to an ex that lied and said she couldn't work. Joel caught her in so many of her lies. He's good at explaining everything. Couldn't be happier!

joel was my lawyer through legal aid. i never felt like a legal aid client with him. he never rushed me and took the time to explain things and answer question.s getting ahold of him takes time sometimes but thats because hes super busy. he always has a lot of matters in court. he would always book phone appointments with me and sent me copies of every letter so i was in the loop. go watch him in court one day he is very smart and a good speaker unlike some other lawyers i seen. i recommned him to all my friends

Joel was my lawyer against an abusive ex. When I first met him he was kind and attentive. He never rushed me and I felt like he actually listened to what I had to say. He never pressured me into going to Court, but recommended options that would protect me and my kids. When I finally decided to take my ex to Court, Joel was quick and effective. Although his office seems to be extremely busy, we always had our paperwork filed on time and he was always very prepared in Court no matter how many files he had that day. Other lawyers and Judges seem to respect him. He got me out of a very difficult and abusive situation and I would recommend him to anyone.

Joel represented my husband for his divorce abd alimony settlement. Due to the other lawyer being a crook and not responding to Joel, it did take some time. Joel was persistent and was in constant communication with us and in the end we wound up winning. Highly recommend, he’s kind and dedicated and never gave in. His rates were as reasonable as can be expected.
