Stan Faulkner and Broel Law is only concerned with billing hours and not clients. I have listed Stan's errors: •Failed to ensure that the out-of-state oath was sent to local Probate Court
•Failed to verify that the Petition was published, and in fact, expressed to me that it had been published
•Spent retainer monies to research property that was already foreclosed on or days away from foreclosure, and without my knowledge or consent (over $2,000.00),this was done before I was made the Administrator
•Double billed me for information already given during initial meeting
•Failed to follow my wishes on manner of contact with step-brother that has stolen the estate
•Took an inordinate amount of time to process my case (5 months)
•Failed to verify the correct filing fees and publishing fees
•Failed to verify what the Probate courts requirements were for an heir search
His errors and lack of communication are so bad I have had to file a grievance with the GA Bar. Do not use this attor

This guy is either one of two things: an incompetent lawyer or snake who gives bad advice to clients to enable his firm to bill them the most possible. He incorrectly said my mother was automatically incompetent because she had dementia. He never even spoke to her. He incorrectly stated emergency guardianship could only be granted in cases where ward was in danger of physical injury. That is totally wrong since it can be granted if there is imminent threat of loss of assets or money. He stated guardianship is filed in probate court where the ward's home is. Another attorney told me it's filed in the county where the ward currently lives. If you are considering hiring Stan Faulkner and his firm The Broel Law Group, DON'T. In my experience, they did nothing but provide incorrect legal advice, got no results, and billed me exorbitant fess for what they were hired for in comparison to other law firms
