I had the worst experience dealing with Bridget and her assistant Sandy. I explained to Bridget about my time urgent case. Nothing was done on my file for a month!! There was so made un answered emails, voicemail messages. I was promised too many times about call backs that didn't happen. Paper work that was submitted to court was rejected because of a missing signature and she never advised about. I ended up hiring a competent law firm after 2 months of this nonsense. They were very slow transfering my file to the new lawfirm, and only parts of my file was transferred, and of course about the court docs being rejected by the court was never passed along. I have asked twice for a final accounting of my retainer and still no response.

Used to specialize in construction law apparently but now does general and family law. She is extremely thorough and talked me through everything in my case. She ran rings around the opposing counsel and always stood up for me. She was always available to talk if I needed and made me feel very secure in the decisions we made. While she was always positive she never sugar-coated anything and was realistic with what I could expect. I never felt that she was dragging things out or padding the bill in any way, in fact she tried to keep costs down as much as she was able. She is relatively new to the area I believe, but one of if not the best lawyer in the Cobourg area. Highly recommended.
