Maciej has been my lawyer for more than a year and I am so thankful that I have his representation. My situation is challenging and contentious, and it is really great to have someone who is very well balanced in their approach--aggressive when need be, willing to look for a compromise when it's advantageous. I interviewed 5 other lawyers before I found Maciej, some in really big firms around town. By the time I got to him, I had heard pretty much the same story and approach from all the other lawyers. I went with him because he offered a number of unique insights and interesting strategies that no one else brought up. His on-the-spot command of family law was also really impressive. Through his help over time I have gained a central role in my child's life, which is the most important outcome in the world.

I have to admit, I searched for my previous lawyer out of curiosity. My experience was far from the outstanding reviews from his other clients. He seemed lost when it came to our case, he arrived to court in a wrinkled suit and had little to no advise for our position. His counsel not only cost me his fee but thousands of dollars and other representation to undo the damage I firmly believe he was responsible for. I do not recommend this firm unless its for not adversarial actions.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Zebrak. I have written this review over and over again trying to get the wording just right. I spent months and months and months using a "high dollar" BIG law firm for my case with NO results. Out of desperation and nowhere else to turn I started my quest to find a new attorney. I landed in Mr. Zebrak's office for a consultation and and since then, my case has completely turned around and I am finally getting the much needed results.
Mr. Zebrak's personal approach with me made me feel at ease. Even though I know Mr. Zebrak had other ongoing cases, I was always made to feel as if my case was the only thing he was working on. Phone calls and emails were ALWAYS answered in a timely manner and Mr. Zebrak ALWAYS took the time to answer any questions or put my mind at ease. Mr. Zebrak is highly competent and knows the law. He isn't going to be "bullied" by the aggressive, high dollar litigation attorney's.

My case has been one of the most complex custody cases in Virginia. With two prior attorney’s, I literally got no where… until I found Maciej Zebrak.
Maciej (pronounced ma’j) is different than any attorney I’ve ever met. He has compassion. He actually cared, which is something you’ll hardly ever find in a attorney. His logic and questioning on cross examination has more than once left the court room virtually speechless. And most importantly, he got me custody of my son.
The courts are not necessarily fair. You can’t always get what you want. My past experience has proven that even with the best evidence, the best testimony and the best attorneys it doesn’t mean a sure win. A judge is going to do whatever he or she wants to do. But I am confident that if it’s at all possible, Maciej will do his best to help you like he did me. I thank God I met him and how he’s helped put some normalcy back into my life, and my son’s life, when no one else could. I can’t say enough. He's good.

Maciej B. Zebrak is a great attorney. He handled my child support case with professionalism and integrity. He was very calm and reassuring from the beginning. Even when I was not so calm. Do not underestimate him, he has a quiet persistence and will get results. I am very happy with his performance and resourcefulness. He helped me with a difficult child support case involving multiple complex issues, including but not limited to, alimony from another marriage, sealed divorce papers to hide income from that divorce (which was significant), unnecessary medical bills, etc. I really liked his aggressive approach opposing counsel. He was prepared to respond to anything opposing counsel would bring up. Several times, the opposing counsel did not display ethical behavior and Mr. Zebrak was able to still think fast and react appropriately.
