Jason Karpel is an inexperience attorney that failed me. He failed to obtain any defense in fear of jeopardizing any Plea Offer. He is a contract lawyer which means he not an employee of the law firm but works on a part-time basis. He admitted on my Bar Complaint against him that he did not have the training or supervision for my case. He was found guilty by the Bar of poor communications and disclosing confidential client/attorney information to the court. The court replaced him and the Bar has retired him to take more attorney training classes. What was the most shocking was his bad temper when he refused my $500 monthly payment. Then he lied to the judge stating I never tried to pay him. This was confirmed in my Fee Arbitration Hearing where I won 1/3 of what I paid him because he did not earn what the firm charged per hour. Out of the 50 lawyers I have worked with in my legal career, Jacob Karpel was the worst prepared, worst performing, worst communicating, and lack any ethics.
