complete waste of time and money. does not follow up on ongoing issues and does not respond to you when asked about them. finally gave up on him and found a real lawyer and wow what a difference

Stay away from this backdoor pretentious good for nothing lawyer. Talks a big game and nothing to show up for….. actually it will cost you more because you will need to get a real lawyer to fix everything is messed up. Like the other people in this forum, I acknowlege that he fails at following up; even the other lawyers gets frustrated because he does not respond to anyone…. but he is really quick to bill you for the little stuff that he says he does but has no actual tracking. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER!!!

Bad bad don’t go. Just like o there’s nothing was good for a week and than no word from him. My case should have been done in a month and now going on 2 years bc of him. Not happy at all 0stars. He yells at you when you pop In when you don’t hear from him in months. Does not call back or email. Just takes your money.

Settled my divorce effectively and fairly. There was nearly $3M in property and pension to divide, which required lots of close work with accountants. Very happy with the outcome and that we avoided an expensive trial!

I went to Clay to attain full legal custody of my son. I had raised him alone, this should have been as simple as a custody situation could possibly be. He did not return my phone calls or emails, and kept telling me what the "next steps" would be, without ever taking any. He ended up drawing up paperwork that he never actually submitted or served, costing me thousands of dollars that I had saved up as a single parent with no result. I finally told him to forget it and I would go elsewhere, and came to his office at the time to pick up the "paperwork". I expressed my disappointment, at which time he said to me "maybe if you'd paid me more, I would have worked harder for you," as he handed me back my partial retainer. I left in tears, never having felt smaller in my life.

Much like the previous comments as well does not return phone calls does not answer emails when you show up there he gives you crap for popping by and ask him what’s going on. Been with him for a year and a half did not solve anything on a simple divorce highly not recommend it at all

Terrible experience. Paid full, reviewed initial draft and then never heard from him again. Called and left messages for him and his assistant and neither responded. Left numerous emails wanting my document sent out or provide an update, no response. Sent email and on a whim blocked my number, assistant answered right away. She sounded flustered when I identified myself, put me on hold and said he received my email. Illustrating, they were purposely ignoring me.This treatment was terrible and unprofessional. Finally I had to come down to the office and wait outside until I received my document. Save yourself the stress, go somewhere else.

Much like previous comments, this lawyer believes he knows best and does not listen or respect the wishes of his clients. He oversteps his role. Wish I had checked how many firms he’s worked with before considering hiring him. I now have to redo what I saw him for.

does not care about his clients one bit. horrible communication and then puts it back on you when you call him out on it. can’t seem to handle being told when he’s in the wrong or not working for me but against me. steer clear of this one! waste of money. bills you for things he can’t even produce and show you!!
