Due to a number of circumstances I was forced to represent myself in Small Claims Court. Fortunately the judge sent me to talk to duty counsel. Dorothy was working as duty counsel that day. She is young but very knowledgeable. She is bright and smart. She picks up stuff right away. She got into my case details within an hour and represented me in court the same day. Thanks to her my examination-in-chief and my cross-examination went smoothly and she convinced the judge to accept the evidence that the defendant's counsel was objecting to. Dorothy was excellent. She prepared for the second trial day and caught the defendant in lies and contradicting facts. She prepared a very comprehensive closing argument referring to various legal precedents. I find Dorothy to be a very professional, knowledgeable and detail-oriented lawyer. She always responded to my requests fast, sometimes even during late hours.
