my husband and i had a very positive first experience with Athena. we were in a very time sensitive and emotionally difficult situation and she responded immediately with compassion, expertise and tipped us to some unknown legal/registration issues we might be facing. we connected to her warm personality, felt confident in her sound advice and her staff were stellar. she is "my lawyer" on the Coast and i will be in need of her services again soon. i'm surprised at some of the low ratings - does not fit my experience in any way.

From the moment I contacted McLash Law in Sechelt, I knew I had made the right choice. The staff were courteous and attentive, and responded to each of my many emails and phone calls. I have very high standards, and I am very particular about sharing confidential information. It was paramount that my privacy would be protected in this small community. Each time I visited their beautiful office, I felt calm and reassured that I was being looked after by professionals. Athena herself exceeded my expectations with her competence, efficiency, and her genuine empathic nature. I have no hesitations in strongly recommending McLash Law.

Athena and her team are amazing! I used her office for a very unique and difficult real estate transaction and I couldn't be happier with the service I received! The process was well explained and the office was so friendly to deal with. I would certainly recommend McLash Law.

I used McLash Law on two occasions and couldn't be happier. They made both experience stress free & easy. Everything was explained throughly to me. The price was the same as a notary but you get an unreal Lawyer!! Amazing staff very friendly. Highly recommend Athena to everyone I know!

I have used Athena on many different occasions and have followed her from her previous office. She has always replied to questions in a timely and professional manor. Her staff have always been pleasant and knowledgeable. The office has always gone above and beyond. I would have no hesitation to send anyone I knew over to see her. Thank you Mclash & Company!

Appeared knowledgeable at first meetings however as time went on, we questioned her expertise. timelines given were not met, she was difficult to reach and abrupt and rude when we did reach her. Assistants on more than one occasion stated they didn't know how to proceed and we would have to wait for Athena. Inexcusable for the high price for her services.

Excuses and delays. Lots of fees. Inefficient. Inexperienced staff. Nasty attitude. Unhelpful. Abandoned us. Please everyone beware. Go to a notary instead.

I find Athena to be a very attentive lawyer who genuinely cares about her clients. She always made time to answer my questions, and make sure I understood, no matter when it was. The work she was completing for me was done well and faster than I'd expected.

When I asked her to give me reason to believe she would fight on my behalf she responded she felt I had no confidence in her and couldn't represent me on such terms. That was enough for me to go elsewhere. Maybe she's a decent lawyer but I couldn't take the chance against an extremely difficult ex spouse who's hired a much more experienced attorney. That said,and to be fair, my ratings are based on a rather incomplete experience.

Athena was too busy to help me as i learned later that she was establishing her own business. Communication was difficult as emails went unanswered or were not read. I do not like pushing just to get any action. My retainer has increased three times in four months yet little was accomplished.
