Matt took my case and man did he deliver! Going through criminal legal trouble can be a daunting experience but Matt made me feel comfortable and hopeful. He helped me see things through a realistic lens and he did an exceptional job with my case.

Completely unprepared for defense, was constantly stymied by even the most questionable and trivial arguments and objections from the prosecution.

He has no idea what he is talking about. He promised me that I would end up with no record. I paid him. Afterwards, he cut a deal with the crown without even talking to me about it. Then when I explained to him I acted in self defence and couldn't take the deal, he rolled his eyes and told me no judge would buy my story. I ended up firing him. He billed me $5,000 for it. I found a different lawyer afterwards who defended me at trail and guess what... I was found not guilty. I also saw he has been giving himself positive reviews on google under his own name, along with others from his firm. Makes you wonder about all his over positive reviews. Don't trust him.

My cousin had a fight at the bar. He has cognitive challenges and native. Matt let him sit in jail, told him he needed treatment program. My brother-in-law who works in corrections recommended another lawyer, but we had already paid Matt over $5,000. After my cousin sat in jail for another month with no progress, we ended up hiring a new lawyer. Matt refused to refund us any of the money until we got the law society involved. The new lawyer got him out right away and got all the charges dropped. Do not trust this guy.
