I did not use this lawyers services but he laughed on a social media thread about my child dying. I was entirely beside myself to learn he is a family lawyer. What a cruel human being.

Christopher is reliable, extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator & produces excellent quality of work. He helped me with a very difficult ex that I (and other lawyers) couldn't handle. He was able to work out a plan for me to deal with intimidation that I was facing from my ex. While Chris was out of country, my ex withheld my 1 yr old from me. Chris drafted a letter and a proposed parenting plan for me while on holiday. He won an urgent motion in court for me of which we had less than a days notice for. He was able to successfully stop sneaky opposing counsel from booking a settlement conference without my knowledge and again when they tried to use a backdoor to get in front of a specific judge. He is strategic and is very good at anticipating possible scenarios and having a plan to react. When money got tight, he coached me to successfully self represent. He translates family law into something understandable. I am forever grateful for what he has done for my family

Christopher is an excellent lawyer. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to win a 50/50 custody/access agreement for me and my 2 year old daughter with my extremely uncooperative ex (I am a male). At the worst part of my case, he was successful in preventing my ex from withholding my daughter from me. He was always focused on serving my best interest, and was very keen on coaching me on how to not waste my money with him. Also he transferred a lot of knowledge to me, so that I can handle ongoing issues without the need of the law/courts. I truly believe he is more in this business for the love of helping people. I highly recommend Christopher.

I consulted Christopher Deeble for independent legal advice, post-separation through a mediator. I'm glad I did, he has a way of explaining things in English which I understood much better with him. I also consulted him for my divorce and testament. Very professional, kind, patient with all my questions and paraphrasing, flexible and just, well, cool. Will definitely recommend him! This rating is authentic :)

Very poor and expensive experience. This is the "lawyer" you hire if you want someone to work for your ex. Way overcharged for the service. Asking for expensive reports that were not even required to put you in the worst possible negotiating position. I am glad I got out after substantial financial loss and changed my lawyer.Gives wrong legal advice after fact checking him against other lawyers. Can not represent you in court. Stay away..this is not they guy to work for your best interest.

He is a good paper pusher but if you have to go to court, you are in trouble. (I din't think it would happen but it did since my ex was very unreasonable.) He has no experience and cannot think on his feet. Law is his second career so he is not very experienced. You can get someone much cheaper if you want a paper pusher. This is a real review - I can't see how anyone would give him a 5 on everything, particularly knowledge.

I have been dealing with a custody case long distance. I live in Guelph and my daughter lives with mother in Ottawa, over 5 hours drive apart. Mr. Deeble is the professional you want if you need help getting rightful custody of your child, or for any other litigious means for that matter. I can't overstate this enough, he went ABOVE and BEYOND all expectations. He is not the first lawyer I have hired, but he is definitely the last. He dealt with a very toxic lawyer on the other parties side, with ease. There is no other lawyer I would recommend as highly as Christopher Deeble. Hire this man, and you will not be disappointed!

He threatens you more than your ex, after $25000 and Zero resaults, I paid all this money and all he would say i cant make your wife do anything thank God i got rid of him, stay away unless you have lots of money you don’t need.

I was in a messy separation and division of property dispute. I had no experience prior to this situation in dealing with the law nor did I know how to go about finding lawyer. I got my 1st lawyer and spent 6 months without hearing anything. I decided to change lawyer. Finally, I found Christopher from this website. Christopher is an incredible lawyer . When I first met him, he understood my situation and I felt really comfortable. He is a very knowledgeable and caring lawyer. He responded quickly emails. Although I had received advice from other lawyers about previous versions of the document, Chris was the first to provide a written analysis to point out potential risks and propose solutions to address these issues. Although Chris does mainly family law, he is a very talented lawyer who can handle disputed matters in different areas. He has been my lawyer for 6 years. He had successfully represented me in Landlord Tenant Board hearings, Divisional Court as well as Small Claims Court. He also takes care of commercial tenancy disputes for me, successfully collecting unpaid rent. His attention to detail is second to none. I felt well prepared in all of my court appearances with him. I have been very satisfied with all of his representation in achieving desirable results. Chris is very conscientious in minimizing my legal fees which I very much appreciate. Highly, highly recommend Christopher Deeble for my experience with him as my family lawyer! I couldn't have been happier with Christopher's expertise over the course of dealing with my separation! He was fair and honest, and advocated for the rights of myself and my daughter to a reasonable outcome for all, while dealing with a very hot-headed ex, and his hot-headed lawyer! At one point he even suggested that I was spending too much on his services for where things were at with the agreement, and to take a bit of a break to see if the ex and I could come to an agreement outside of going back and forth between lawyers. Very pleasant to deal with from start to finish, Christopher was always available to give great advice and fought for what was right for my situation. I am a father who was seeking full custody of my daughter, with supervised access for the mother.
