Avoid Ms.Cynthia Cook-Jamison and Rachel Malerbi at ALL COST. I hired them from 6/2015 to end of 12/2015 for a divorce case only involving property and asset division. During this time, I lost around $4700 with no completion of my case in sight and gained more disappointment and despair. These people are phony, make promises, and do not follow through on their word. They cheat people when we call them up to check on the status of our case because they charge for all interactions in their contract. They also charge $300 for a consult, neglect you and charge you all over again for the same info when they meet with you. When you complain, they find ways to blame you for their incompetence. BEST THING TO DO OVERALL: Trust your gut and avoid BAD attorneys like Ms. Jamison and her paralegal, Rachel Malerbi. They are wolves in sheeps clothing and pretend that they care so they can cheat you out of your money.
After I fired them, I was able to get a trial date on my own within 1.5 months.
