9/30/24	4	1	1	1	1	This lawyer proved to be frustrating and difficult throughout what should have been an extremely straightforward divorce. He was flaky, repeatedly changing meeting times at the last minute (in one case changing the time less than 1/2 an hour before a meeting). Reschedules were common with him, as was forgetting to file paperwork on time. It was next to impossible to reach him by email or phone. I actually had to work with my ex and their lawyer to move the divorce process along, which never should have had to happen. Brian should have been in my corner, and he absolutely wasn’t. He has no assistant and clearly needs one based on my experience and others' from what I am reading on here. Reading the reviews, it sounds like he was excellent (prior to 2020) but really went downhill in responsiveness and quality of work.
2/1/24	5	3	5	5	5	While I had a hard time getting ahold of Brian at first, I stayed patient and kept sending emails and leaving messages. I was honestly ready to give up when he finally responded. He explained my legal options to me and made his recommendations for the best course of action. Then he negotiated an excellent solution with the opposing side in record time. He's hard to get ahold of but was caring and respectful. He's a busy sole practitioner - if you can be patient, he can work excellent solutions in a nonadversarial way.
9/20/23	1	1	1	1	1	Hired this lawyer to file some documents. Charged me money and took my documents. Never heard from him again. Have tried repeatedly to contact him. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER HE IS FRAUDULENT.
5/19/23	5	5	5	5	5	I found Brian to be very down to earth and caring when it came to my file. Sometimes he’s hard to get a hold of by telephone because he doesn’t have an assistant but he always responded to my emails pretty quick. He’s very professional and very knowledgeable and respectful. I’m glad he gave me choices on what to do because even if I maybe didn’t make the best choice for my rights I know I made the best choice for my mental health and my last lawyer didn’t care about that and only cared about the money. I’d for sure recommend him because he takes extra care.

8/28/22	3	1	1	1	1	Even though this lawyer knew my case was time sensitive he did not follow through on his promises and eventually was impossible to get a reply to emails or phone calls. I will assume he abandoned my file.
6/14/21	2	1	1	1	1	Mr. Carriere was hard to get a hold of right at the beginning, especially with him being the sole practitioner with no receptionist. There has been a very serious lack of communication which has affected my case. During my time with him I had many unanswered questions and concerns because he would usually not respond to my emails or return my calls when I left a voicemail. I usually would have to keep calling until he picked up or have the odd email that he would actually respond to. Very unprofessional to the point where the other party would talk about his unprofessionalism. I felt like I was not being represented well and I felt like I had to advocate for myself the majority of the time. I would not recommend him.

6/20/18	5	5	5	5	5	Brian is amazing I had a four year battle because my ex is evil and doesn’t want to pay child support . Brian knows what battles to fight and has no problem telling u no if your being petty that way the important stuff gets done. He’s so professional and works hard he is literally a one man army my ex took me back to lower payments and I called him I have referred him and two of my friends got Justice thanks to him. The judges respect him because he is respectful. Honestly hire him and you will not be disappointed. He’s done so much for me it was bitter sweet when I thought we were done with everything I live in high prairie and he travels to be here for me everything he says goes it went he also got me costs when my ex would try and waste our time, again thank you Brian your the best and even though I could be difficult you didn’t give up on. Me and u improved my kids quality of life thnx .JB
