I’m disabled with no source of income and hired Laura and her partner for my divorce trial when leaving an abusive marriage. They waited until the last minute to prepare for trial, ignored and lost important information I gave them, didn't use documentation like police reports, emails, and letters, made me sit in the same room as my abuser for 8 hours during deposition, told me when I had a panic attack and was too traumatized to testify that I had to go on or it would cost me a lot of money. I was paralyzed with fear at the trial and couldn’t even speak up on my behalf. They worked hard to make sure my ex got what he was supposed to get and did nothing to make sure I did, allowing it to continue on in court, and when it did, refused to help me unless I signed a paper giving them tens of thousands from the home sale. They charged over $30,000 for the divorce, left me without a home, no healthcare, financially destitute, traumatized and said I should have helped them with strategy more.
