My husband and I took half a day off work to go see this 2 year experienced lawyer. Although we were supposed to have a free consultation, she made it very evident her mind was elsewhere and she let us know she had to be someplace else. The receptionist told us the retainer would be $3,000.00 but she informed us that our upcoming court appearance would be a $5,000.00 retainer. She told us that unless the retainer was paid she could not comment on our file. Then what was the consultation for? She was very uninterested in taking our file and at no time did she suggest for us to retain her with our $3,000.00 and that we could come back in a few days with the other $2,000.00. Our court appearance was just to speak to the matter to obtain a future date. She completely wasted our time. If you have a delicate matter to deal with, think twice as her lack of caring is obvious.
