I had the displeasure of having Wendy Elliott represent me in court with my ex a few years ago and she did the exact opposite. There was ZERO representation! I had a solid case with TONS of proof of my ex lying in court and she did nothing with it. I would have been better off representing myself. It got so bad I had to fire her at the end and have someone take over to attempt to clean up the mess she made. She will side with your ex and allow their lawyer to run the show. She will forget documents and will forget to tell you what documents she needs you to prepare and then when the judge asks for these things, she blames all of her incompetencies on her assistant. I wouldn't recommend her to absolutely anyone! My ex and I ended up working things out on our own without her "help". She made every situation tense and uncomfortable, you could tell that other lawyers and judges also felt the same way about her as everyone's demeanors would change when she would enter a room. Steer clear!

I am willing to be all positive reviews were written by someone related to her. I worked in the legal field for 15+ years and have never witnessed her level of unprofessional service before now. She's asleep at the wheel with an inexperienced assistance as her fall-guy.

I am not one to give reviews unless it’s a positive one but I just cannot let this go unsaid??
At my first initial meeting with Wendy I was given an amazing first impression. I left her office filled with confidence and faith that I would receive an amazing defence on my behalf. I went to her with a fool proof case and she had everything she needed to present a great case on my behalf. I gave her facts, documents, proof, affidavits and witnesses. There was even proof of lies and deception against my x husband. There was sexual assault against a child on my x husbands side of things as well.
In short...Wendy is all talk. NO action. I would never recommend her ever. She gives a great first impression but that’s all you get. She is extremely unorganized. I seen my file and I’m willing to bet not one piece of my documents ever seen the light of day after they were submitted. She waisted my time and in turn completely screwed me over. Documents from this lawyer's consistently had major errors. For example wrong dates,numbers and names. She took weeks to register the divorce application after it had been signed and did not have my ex served for weeks after that. Her lack of attention to my file caused me to delay and reschedule my wedding twice! I do not recommend this lawyer. Do not use this lawyer.

Wendy Elliott has been practicing for several decades and I would never hire any other lawyer. She's honest and reasonable, unlike most other lawyers. She wont' lie to you about possible outcomes just to get more money. I hired her 3 times in the past time. Two out of 3, I got exactly what I wanted.

Wendy is extremely dedicated to her field of work. She's a no nonsense type of lawyer she says it as it is. She will give you the advice you need to hear not what you want to hear. You may think that she is in disarray but don't kid yourself. She knows exactly what she needs and where to get it. I wouldn't have anyone else. You're the best Wendy.

This lawyer is terrible! I would not recommend her to anyone. She's always late for conferences, she never speaks at conferences, she's rude and unprepared, always forgetting paperwork or neglecting to submit paperwork. Also, her office is a complete disaster it's so messy and she has dogs running around her office. That should have been my first clue. Previous review is correct, she tries blaming her assistant for every screw up. Steer clear of this lawyer!

Wendy is fantastic. She's a little weird, and sometimes comes across in a negative light, but she truly cares and is willing to go above and beyond for her clients.

This woman lied straight to my face when I was in emotional duress during a CAS case...I was directed to sign a document that SHE TOLD ME was an agreement to review in 3 months, but in all actuality I was sogning my parental rights away. She obviously abuses her legal power and is guided often by her personal opinions, feelings and underestimations. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CCASE AT ALL!!!!

Didn't appear to retain any of our case information. Hardly said a word at case conference, ordered my husband sign a paper, when he asked what it was she demanded he sign it. During discussion she told the other party we would offer a large sum of money, without asking if we wanted to or discussion on the amount . Very unprofessional. Missed appointments and got us mixed up with other clients. We had to dismiss her in the middle of case and hire a new lawyer and start proceedings again.

Made a complete mess of my file it is a wonder how she is still practicing law She never came to meetings prepared (even forgot some of them), and was never prepared in court, always giving excuses (blaming her assistant for everything). Zero value for your money and horrible lawyer.
