Mr. Shufflebarger regularly took more than a week to respond to emails, and often required a phone call to get engaged. It often took the same amount of time (or longer) to be notified of correspondence received from my wife's attorney. He did not offer consistent or meaningful advice. The advice that he did give showed little concern toward the protection of my interests.
Mr. Shufflebarger repeatedly denied that he was neglectful in comprehending the details of my case. When my dissatisfaction was communicated to him he was quick to speak to me in a tone that was defensive and unapologetic. On more than one occasion drafted proposals with thousands of dollars in accounting mistakes to my disadvantage.
If you want sound advice from an organized individual to manage your case in best interest I would avoid him. I was much more satisfied with my second choice in attorneys.
