In interviews, Mr. Colosimo dismissed my concerns as a father, misinterpreted my daughter's anxiety, and failed to comprehend the mother's motives. He designated an unqualified therapist who said to me three times "your daughter does not need her father” and bases her therapy principles on her own divorce issues. In a formal letter about the case, he made factual errors, put forward several untrue statements, and even resorted to innuendo to justify his poor decision-making. His website commands people to treat him with respect, but he does not respect others in turn. When I told him my concerns about my daughter, he shut me down by saying “I am an attorney, not a psychologist.” He proved that by forcing us to use an unqualified therapist. He did not delve into our family dynamic and has a high opinion of himself, so he does not question his own first impression. He was easily manipulated by my daughter's mother, and unconcerned about the effects of his poor analysis on our family.
