I hired William for my divorce case. Even though he might be an OK lawyer he loves to bill heavily. I was shocked that he billed for every little thing including one sentence emails for almost $50 each. This law firm is a rip off. I am happy that I have a new lawyer now. Thank you for wasting my money.

I used William for my separation process which was more complicated than most. I was very satisfied with his work and really appreciated that he was easy to reach and would always return calls promptly, even if it was after hours. I never felt that he was just in it for the billable hours, he seemed to genuinely want to have my situation resolved with the best possible outcome for me. I would certainly recommend him to friends.

After being criminally charged I went to see William. It was a very frightening time for me and my family. After speaking with William it really gave be a better perspective on the situation and certainly helped me relax through such a difficult time. William answered all of my questions in a very efficient and professional manner. This really helped me to relax and stay calm during such an anxious time. I would strongly recommend William for all legal matters he was very professional and helpful. Trying to understand the law is a complicated matter but William helped me understand the process in language that I could understand. Very helpful and motivated me to want to pursue a career in law, to help people who find themselves in difficult legal situations.

Mr. Doodnauth is a great lawyer. Never had experience dealing with a criminal charge before but I know that I was very fortunate to have him guide me through the whole process. He is very understanding and easy to talk to and was quick to respond to any questions I had when I called his office. Was there early at my court dates and really took care of any stress or uncertainty I had. He is respectful and very professional. William Doodnauth represented me in a complicated Family Matter, which William won for me. He also requested my legal fees be paid for by the opposing side, and he won that too. He is a very smart and compassionate lawyer who knows his stuff. He was always available on the phone/email and responded to all my questions promptly. William helped me with a CAS matter I was involved in. He was always positive and pleasant and he guided me even when I was angry and I felt unfairly treated by my worker. He focused me on working on things to get my kids back and I did. He also calmed tense meetings with my worker and other parties and reminded me that it was child focused and not about me. I am grateful that I listened to him. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a family lawyer.

William was referred to me by my previous lawyer. I came to him in the middle of a lengthy matrimonial situation. I dropped off 12 volumes to his office. There had been several orders made and not in my favour. My ex wife continued to bring motions and William responded to all of them. He was successful and got costs on every one. He then brought a motion for increase access and won. I could not believe it! William did not want to listen to my complaining about why things were unfair he simply wanted me to provide him the information that he needed to assist me. I respect him for that even though he was abrupt at times. He made sure I was focused on the issues and separated my feelings from the case. I am happily enjoying my parenting time. I recall two of the judges saying "you have good counsel". I agree.

This lawyer gave a good speech how he is a "Trial Lawyer", but in 2 family court hearings, he got my facts wrong, failed to serve my financial statement on time. So I fired him, it took 4 weeks to get my file box back and I found he mixed other people's files in with mine. It took 2 months to get a statement of account and magically ALL of my $5,000 disappeared. He was mad that I fired him and he's mad that he had to do any work. Worst lawyer I ever saw! Now I find out he's been on a Bad Lawyer List of FB for the last year!
