Attorney Micheal G. Matthews was hired in relation to a misdemeanor DWI charge during which time I experienced multiple issues.
In 2 months time (2 court appearances) I'd manage to pay $500 of the $800 balance and the dates were only reset.
As a full-time college student who graduates next year I explained to Mr. Matthews that the $300 balance would be paid prior to the completion of the case as it was only our 3rd court appearance but he was unwilling to work with me.
During the time of our dealings Mr. Matthews displayed behavior that would be deemed inappropriate.
He would frequently use racial slurs in relation to court officials.
He would contact me at questionable times during the night to fraternize or speak inappropriately.
Upon declining his advances I was constantly threated to bring in money and we hardly discussed the case.
It is my beliefs that my rights were violated.
Mr. Matthews failed to adhere to Code of Ethics.
