Did not fight for me during my divorce. Instead told me how much it would cost to take the divorce to trial. Not wanting to go to trial (because I thought I would be treated fairly by the judge HA!) I wanted to settle this without a long EXPENSIVE trial. It still cost me $8000 and I was lucky to get out with a few possessions. The X wife got the house valued at about $275k+ and we only owed $140k on it, I got land that I had bought BEFORE the marriage..geez thanks, and I got the typical every other weekend with my kids. When I told Fournier that I wanted 50% custody, this is where you see the salesman come out. She told me "no judge in MA will take 5 children away from their mother!" and how going to trial would be very expensive. It was then I realized lawyers are all about the money...not doing what's right for the kids, and the courts are their playground. You want to be treated equally to a women in court...oh well you're going to have to pay someone for that! So I got screwed.
