I have met Michael Lowy through a collaborative law website. I wanted to end an interminable divorce with an incredibly toxic and vindictive ex. Michael has always been willing to reach out to the other party to try and find agreeable and economic solutions to our conflict. It has not been easy, but Michael has always been on the side of peaceful resolution, rather than escalating the conflict and generate more fees for himself.
I am not saying that Michael is simply a nice guy who won't put up a fight. A number of times it has been necessary to bring things to the bitter end. One major accomplishment has been overcoming the recommendation of a rogue custody evaluator who knowingly tried to damage my relationship with my son. Overcoming a bad custody evaluation (especially if the evaluator is outright dishonest, or playing God, or who knows what) is one of the toughest things to do in family court. So I am very pleased with that result, and my son is flourishing now.
