I self-represented myself in my divorce trial and I am very happy with the orders given. I used Laura’s unbundled package for this trial. She prepared my trial brief, the opening statement, the closing statement, my book of binders, and guided me on the trial process. During the trial, the judge wanted some case laws for another way he was thinking of going. The judge gave me a 15 min break to get the case laws. I called Laura and she asked me how I would want them, I asked her to email them to me. Within 5 min I got 4 cases emailed to me from Kara. The judge was impressed, he also commented on how good the closing statement was. With the amount of work, she had done, I was expecting a bigger bill. She is so reasonable in her billing. She works with a great team that includes Alex, Sarah, and Lexy. She designated the work to them or me according to our abilities to make the best use of my money. What a wonderful team! I feel so blessed to have them help me

I’m very surprised at these ratings, to the point that I’m curious as to whether they’re real. Maybe she’s changed? I used Laura to go over my mediated separation agreement 4 years ago. I found her collaborative, easy to communicate with and reasonable. Watching my ex-wife’s more expensive lawyer refuse to cooperate with the mediation process and try to push everything to court (we really didn’t have that much to fight about, there’s no way a judge would have given her near what she was asking for) made me realize how things could have gone for me. I have recommended her a few times since and the feedback was positive from them too. I certainly recommend her.

After being passed to Laura from her partner ( pregnancy leave) Mrs.Allen was curt uninformed of my case and ONLY CARED about settling. I am close to her age and felt she continually neede to put me in my place. Refused to address her lack of initiative and proceeded to explain HER cases were her priority. Cares about settling and getting her $4000 for achieving nothing but back and forth. Shame on people like this that take and do nothing. Sheisters!!!

Laura was pretty much useless in my case. She overcharged for everything and achieved nothing. She was more interested in being friends with the opposing counsel than pushing forward my case. She was very wussy when it came to speaking up in court. I would not hear anything for weeks and had to make appointments just to keep things moving forward. Laura was constantly off on holidays and going to conferences causing endless delays. Laura didn't bother to respond to emails or phone calls most of the time making it very stressful for everyone involved. I am much worse off now and regret hiring such an inexperienced lawyer. She had to consult her colleagues to find out basic information on the court process. It was a big mistake to have her on my case and I eventually had to fire her.
