Unbelievably terrible experience. Nancy was retained in October 2019 for a family court case, she adjourned the matter several times and never showed up to any dates. She stopped responding to me altogether when covid happened. I sent over 10 messages up until January 2021 when I finally received one back, in which she told she had closed the file. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WOMAN, SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU

This lawyer has not responded to any of my emails and calls. I have no idea why lawyers in Toronto are like this!

Our son's girlfriend took their daughter and disappeared. Police suggested we filed an emergency custody order. We were referred to Nancy and we sent her a $3500 retainer. She did some paperwork and then just disappeared - didn't return our many emails, text messages, many calls. We were so stressed cause we were already going crazy. At one point she just said she was on holiday for a week. And then she said she took over another lawyer's caseload and was very busy. We couldn't believe how we were treated. So we wrote her an email asking her to call us by 5pm the next day otherwise we're firing her. She didn't even respond to that email. We had to scramble to find another lawyer to pick up the pieces. Then she sent us a bill for exactly $3500. Avoid this lawyer.... Totally unprofessional and irresponsible.
