He will drain every penny out of you that he can get his hands, inclusive of not telling you the truth! And I mean, every cent. Did it to me and my brother and one friend and we had to take all to Taxation! Do not ever go with him.

There are great lawyers out there who earn every dollar. Mr. Smith is not one of them. He lacks compassion and shouldn’t be practising family law especially when children are involved. Retaining a lawyer is costly. Mr. Smith will take your money but you won’t see the results you hope for.

Brad make me won against my ex 2 times. In a timely, my ex led me to a cut for a very tomb and brad accusation I acted with many responsibility and entrepreneurship.
My case was taken very seriously and likes to learn from each case.
I extremely recommend Brad.

Bradley Smith represented me on a family law matter. It has been over two years since I started my divorce and I have spent over $40,000 and have gotten nowhere. I didn't see my child for over a year and it was of no concern to him. He didn't respond to me, pushed all his work on his paralegal and then billed me her time at his hourly rate. He also billed me for preparing my monthly bill. He works on commission which you are never told and the retainer agreement does not comply with the law society of alberta. I hear the radio ads all the time about this law firm and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone for any matter. No one cared about me or my case and did not do what I had my lawyer to do. I am now unable to buy a home, remarry or move on with my life until I get my divorce and because of Bradley Smith I am going to be another year before that happens. Just overall a bad lawyer. He has no sympathy for young children and what they want. He just a cash money type lawyer that just wants to make bank.

I am surprised at the comments on this page as I found Brad to be extremely knowledgeable and tenacious! He and his asst were always able to answer my questions and respond in a timely manner to me. He is straight up, to the point and I respected his ability to cut through the BS and get to the point. He worked hard for me and I am pleased with the outcome - his knowledge of Civil law is superior to others I have dealt with in the past with my company and I will recommend him to my peers in the industry anytime!!

Brad completed both a family law matter and an estate litigation matter for me - I find these reviews very inaccurate - both he and his asst were very knowledgeable, easy to reach and kept be informed through every step! I would highly reccommend him for your family and civil matters!! He fought hard for me and I will always be appreciative of his tenacity, experience, and overall knowledge of the law as a whole!!!

Mr Smith is a bit expensive, but worth it! He is good at staying focused on the important issues and he is very knowledgeable in a number of areas. I would hire him again, no questions asked!

To speak to the prior comment regarding Mr. Smith's conduct, I agree he will only damage your case, beyond repair as we also experienced - the impact to children in our case was of no concern to him at all. The fact he is accepting family law files is a scary thought. Citizens beware.

Wow - I can only add my comments with respect to a very negative experience with Mr. Smith to those already here. Smith represented my ex is divorce proceedings and did a horrible job with significant negative impact to all concerned including his own client. He is rude, brash, ignorant of the law, sarcastic, snide and completely without ethics. The case was personal for him and instead of providing sound objective legal advise to his client, he created issue after issue which did significant damage to a parenting relationship and to the children impacted by his actions. Although I "won" my proceedings the damage Smith did cannot be undone. No ethics, no knowledge, no quality of work, no possible reason to hire this man.

He took my money, then dropped my case. no sense of responsibility to his client. in fact, his work ethic stands to benefit the opposition, not you, that have paid him to represent you.

I have never had such a negative experience with a lawyer before. I'm just grateful that he wasn't my lawyer but my ex's. Even my own lawyer had a difficult time with Mr. Smith's lack of professionalism and incompetency. He basically caused expensive delays with his poor communication and extremely delayed responses to my lawyers communications. If you are looking for a lawyer who is knowledgeable and informed, skilled to protect you and your rights? Don't call Bradley Smith.... call Chris King!!!
