I unfortunately was referred to this lawyer. On closing day, he advised me to walk away and find another house. He did not do his due diligence and I had to come up with an additional $12,500.00 dollars to close the deal. I was living in a hotel as I had previously sold my home and had no option. I paid out the additional money, and there is still $45.94 in the sellers taxes they did not pay out. There was $300.00 kept back to cover this, Aitkin didn't pay the outstanding taxes but kept the $300.00 of my money. I have numerous times messaged them, I'm being ignored.Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Not professional at all.
