Just loved working with this lawyer. I had never had a pre nup contract before and Jenn spent a lot of time helping me through this. I came away totally informed and comfortable. She even helped us get a Judge to marry us. Her staff were terrific as well. I highly recommend this lawyer.

Jennifer Cooper negotiated my separation and divorce agreements. I emphasized to her that all negotiations had to be courteous and that my ex-wife - the mother of my daughters, was to be treated with the utmost respect.
Jennifer followed my wishes to a "T". She kept me informed of how things were going and at no time did I ever feel that I wasn't in the loop or that I was being "gauged" financially.
She is the best family lawyer I have ever come across and I highly recommend her.

Jennifer helped me navigate through my divorce. Sometimes lawyer, and when needed, sometimes therapist (during the dark/hard times). She is very knowledgeable of family law and firm in courtroom situations.
Divorce is a process but she will provide options, probabilities of the outcomes and strategize with you to attain a reasonable resolution. Divorce is not a fun experience but with Jennifer, she will help navigate a resolution to get the job done.

Jennifer Cooper and her staff are very knowledgeable professional and really do care about there clients. They have represented me to the highest form of excellence. These people who write these bad reviews probably lost against her or where greedy and not gratful of the hard work she put in to prepare for her case and get what you rightfully deserve within the law. Jennifer Cooper and her firm are best and worth every penny I spent.

Jennifer is a fair, empathetic and knowledgeable family lawyer. She keeps a cool head, which is of the upmost importance in sensitive cases that involve separation and custody of children. She does not “go to war” over every minute detail, which in the end is much more cost effective. She focuses on the important, big picture and is always looking out for her clients’ best interest. She is dependable and has a strong team supporting her.

She is the worst lawyer in Hamilton. If you have money to throw away the perfect lawyer for you. Does not return calls. And her cost for everything is triple then any other lawyer in Hamilton.

I could not agree more with the previous negative reviews. This lawyer is only about the billing and has no regard for protecting your interests. She bills many hours to respond to the simplest issues and could not recall the basics of my case despite numerous meetings. She could not provide any clear strategy and had no apparent interest in fighting for her client. If you want to spend six figures and feel like you are going it alone then she is right for you otherwise I suggest you run in a different direction.

I have to agree with all of the previous negative reviews of this lawyer. She works very slowly and most definately rakes in the money. She is absolutely horrible at returning emails and phone calls. The longer it takes, the more money she makes. It is my strong belief that she milks the system and has no regard and no empathy for anyone but herself and her own needs! She does not listen to the wishes of her client whom she is suppose to represent! She tried to sabotage my amicable relationship with my ex to prove that she could win at all costs, despite both of us wanting to be fair and equitable with each other. I truly believe she would have been happier if we were arch enemies duelling it out in court rather than being civil with one another for the sake of our daughter! A terrible person and an even worse lawyer! Ended up terminating her after a most horrendous experience and thousands of dollars later!! Wish I had never even met her!

who is going to give a 5 rating to a Lawyer they are all over paid .Jennifer was very understanding you can only get what you deserve ,so if you want to be unfair its going to cost you ,this Lady was a Lady and she knew I could of got more but I was not out to hurt anyone especially the children sometimes these Lawyers come up against Lawyers that don't have children and they don't care .There not Gods and after a battle 3 yrs $300,00.00 later battle( Monica Sholz her reputation is like a Gorilla all talk and no DO money in her pocket )we have decided to finish up on our own but Jennifer will be there if needed.Make sure you pick a Lawyer that doesn't what to hurt anyone its a lot cheaper .Thanks Jennifer

I have been very pleased to date with Jennifer’s handling of my family law matter. She is clearly very experienced in this area and great at anticipating hurdles before they arise. She is empathetic and supportive with an appreciation for complex family dynamics, demonstrating true concern for clients and their children. She is careful to minimize costs where possible, avoiding unnecessary motions and conflicts while being prepared and goal-focused. Jennifer has helped me stand my ground without giving in.

Jennifer doesn't seem to have any interest in her clients concerns. She lacks empathy and had no real interest in getting the job done. After months and months with little or nothing done and huge bills piling up I was forced to get a new lawyer. She is more interesting in socailizing with male lawyers and taking her clients money. Could never give a clear answer to very simple questions regarding support and what to expect. I received little or no support or advice as to how to respond to my husband's lawyers's correspondence. Very unprepared and had little or no knowledge or recollection of my case whenever I met with her. It was like starting all over again every time. I guess that pads the bill even more which is all she seems to care about. I would never recommend her to anyone! You will always be at the mercy of what your spouse wants as she is too timid to fight for you even though you are paying through the nose for her services.

Not a bull dog. Very expensive and not worth the money. I was not impressed at all!! If you are looking for the friendly type lawyer go to her. You are paying for their boutique offices.
