This woman, Crysta R. Pennington was assigned as my Public Defender and NEVER showed up to visit me until the day of my arraignment, and then I only saw her via video from another building! She was NEVER available when I made a phone call to her for ANY UPDATES which I could ONLY do at certain times of the day depending on my hours I was allowed out time.Because I was incarcerated at 57 yrs. old FOR THE 1st TIME IN MY LIFE with no family available and no way to get MY MONEY OUT OF MY BANK because HER OFFICE WOULD NOT ACCEPT A 5 MINUTE COLLECT CALL FROM ME FROM JAIL so hopefully she could come visit me and I could RELEASE my purse with my checkbook and give her ACCESS TO MY MONEY TO BAIL ME OUT!!, she AVOIDED ME LIKE THE PLAGUE! I SPENT 41 DAYS IN JAIL BECAUSE I COULD NOT CONTACT THE OUTSIDE WORLD BECAUSE SHE NEVER VISITED! One day a gal let me use her phone card so I could call my Attny Pennington, and when she got on the phone I was told, "Make it quick coz I have to finish my lunch!"
