I was involved in a messy divorce from a retired military member. I was extremely lucky to have Karen representing me. Because she is a retired military member and a former military prosecutor, this is the attorney to represent anyone involved in a military divorce. Being the ex-spouse of a military retiree, I benefited greatly by her knowledge. She helped me tremendously and her knowledge of my rights as a spouse were invaluable to my and my children's futures. After spending over $20k in attorney fees for a divorce involving children a few years ago, I walked away from the experience discouraged by the court system and attorneys in general. I felt defeated, that my defense wasn't fully heard, and was coaxed into agreements rather than taking legitimate arguments to trial. Then I retained Karen Somers a few years after the divorce for what began as a modification of child support/visitation case that turned into a child custody case. Karen Somers has been extremely diligent, thorough, and realistic representing me. Working as a team, Karen and I were able to prevail throughout my child custody case. She is a straight shooter who will fight for what YOU want, what is right, effectively present/defend your case, and will not waste your time and money for a lost cause. I would recommend Karen in a heartbeat.

This attorney and her senior partner Matt Hamel screwed me so bad and they knew it that they actually refunded my money. That is unheard of. I've never heard of a single law firm doing this. It's bad enough that all lawyers are scum anyways. It's even worse when they know they are so terrible that they give you back your money.
