I found this lawyer to be very well versed on the law and she truly cared about my family and I. She doesn't just treat this like a job, she works from the heart and not billable hour like other lawyers. She is assertive and supportive, as well as experienced in the court room. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a family matter.

I hired Jack Anderson, now retired, at this firm in the past, excellent experience, so I hired Penny Paul. She took my case, but said that Sonia Hayer would do the work and she would watch over. Sonia and her assistant Sunita, are nice but useless/damaging. I sent in my financials 3 times, each time they said they got them, but when I arrived to, just days before the JCC to sign them and meet Sonia, they said they didn't have them! As well, Sonia was 25 minutes late and had also double booked herself. The entire time was them trying to figure out how to print my financials, which turned out to be messed up and know one noticed. At the JCC, she arrived late for us to meet, and the first thing she tells the judge is she has to leave early to catch a plane for her holiday! She didn't seem to know my file, who I was etc. I hired another lawyer, they noticed many faults in my file. Sonia originally billed me 10k, but I was able to take 4k off, as the work was not done properly. I

Sonia is an amazing attorney. I walked into her office to meet her and was nervous and anxious with many questions swimming in my head about how to begin the divorce process with a young child on my mind as well. She immediately noticed I was tense, so she made sure to put me at ease and proved to be understanding of my situation. She was always responsive to all my concerns and questions. She proved to be skillful and highly experienced when handling my case. She knew how to benefit me the most, due to her firm comprehension of the law. She was honest and straightforward about her expectations going into a case. She also factors in your personal opinion and makes you feel like a part of the case. I would recommend her to family, friends and anyone looking for help, in regards to family law. She is not what I expected out of a lawyer. Professional Pit Bull. She handled my divorce and was driven to get the best result for me, as well as stickin' it to my Ex husband. It was great working with a female lawyer who understands women and what we go through. She is a feminist at heart, but has also successfully represented many men in their divorces. She is fair, reasonable, intelligent and fierce in the courtroom.
