In question is the honesty & integrity of this attorney. Initially sceptical about the retainer, encouraged by his promise to keep my cost down & the seemingly empathy towards my financial situation & merit of my claim, I signed the retainer on the condition that it be restricted to initial communication (writing of a letter for possible resolution).
What happened afterwards far exceeded all my predictions. I was charged for 20 hours for the writing of the letter, I was commissioned to do all the research for the letter & email him documents to keep *my costs down*. Ironically, I was even emailed the same letter for review 6-7 times when there was no extra information I could have added, only grammatical mistakes that were his job to proofread.
He did not resolve my case & charged me $8,000 for a useless letter. I wasted valuable time & resources and my situation was made worse. I'd never hire this attorney again. Do yourself a favour & stay away from such manipulation & abuse!
