I've learned that there are two most important things that you need from your lawyer. First, he or she has to be competent and he or she has to have you, the client's best interest in mind. When you have these two things you are in good hands, lacking either you are heading for trouble.
I have found both here!
In terms of competence professionalism character integrity and having the client's best interest in mind, Nhu-y absolutely set the gold standard in each and every one of these categories.
Having the client's best interest in mind includes keeping your costs as low as possible. This also means keeping the lawyer's own revenue from you as low as possible. Think of how hard it is to do this one. There is an inherent conflict here between you and your lawyer!
It takes a lot of character integrity to deliver this one!!

I have chosen Nguyen to be my lawyer in a divorce situation that was very complicated both legally, financially and in terms of timelines.She knew exactly what she was doing, she was very good with paperwork and was able to anticipate every single detail ahead of time. I trust her expertise and talent 100%. She is also a very nice , kind and compassionate person, she really cares about best outcome for her clients and not just money like most lawyers do. I retained Ms. Nhu-y Nguyen to represent me in my separation and divorce. She is a compassionate, no nonsense person, very knowledgeable and delivers her insight and advice very clearly. She drafted the Separation Agreement and both sides were happy with the outcome. She helped me make sense of many aspects of separation and division of assets that I was not aware of.
