A very personable lawyer who is easy to talk to and knows his stuff. He was able to quickly and easily collect a debt and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I got paid and was happy with that.

Alan Ovadia is an outstanding lawyer. He has assisted me in setting up my business and any time I have had to go to court. I cannot rate him highly enough! Any review that is not a 5/5 is probably from his opponents who lost and could only post something nasty online. They are not to be believed! My experience and those of the people I have referred have always been great! Highly Recommend!

He doesn't win cases. He is inarticulate and has trouble speaking before a judge. He does not complete his sentences, starting with something and switching to Ï mean", without completing that thought either. It is as if he assumes that the judge knows what he's trying to get at. It is embarrassing and the case is lost. Check his track record.

i was referred to Alan Ovadia to transfer a parcel of vacant land from my father's estate, recently deceased, located in St Hubert. He billed $350 US to review action will be necessary. A month later he call and asked for a retainer of $1500 US. After 26 months and and additional $3700 US billing, he notified me that i will need a notary to transfer the deed. He did nothing, never even reviewed the will.He never did anything that would ever justify his fee. My son, a partner in a real law firm, finally gave up after many calls that were never answered. My son went so far as to call Ovadia's partner to complain of careless treatment. It seems that Ovadia fits in really well in his firm. None of his partners, actually did anything to rectify the situation. Ovadia finally referred me to a notary in Montreal, that did transfer to my Brother's name. Alan Ovadia is an exceptional lawyer - the best you could want. He is knowledgeable, ethical, professional, detailed, kind, friendly, warm, easy to talk to and gets the results you need. He was very reassuring. You just know he is not in it for the money. Alan Ovadia gave great advice and explained everything clearly. My experience with him was very satisfying and his fees were more than reasonable.
He has great and business acumen: keenness and speed in understanding and deciding on a business situation, able to obtain essential information about a situation, focus on the key objectives, recognize the relevant options available for a solution, select an appropriate course of action and set in motion an implementation plan to get the job done.
