Please stay away from her. All she will do is take your money and do absolutely nothing for your case. I would send her emails and weeks would go by without a response back. I would call her and leave voicemails that never got returned. When I finally would get a hold of her she didn’t have the answers to any of my questions. I am not sure what law school she graduated from because she has absolutely 0 knowledge. I actually had to fire her and get another lawyer. My new lawyer was appalled at the lack of work Debra did on my case. Please please stay away from her.

The sad part is I can't give her a 0. Do not hire her as all you will get is bad advice (if you get any at all) and she will do little more than forward you emails from the other lawyer with a comment of "so and so said.....".

Do not give this woman your time or money. She cost me over $18,000 and she told me that basically my legal separation meant nothing. She was also afraid to tell my X what child support was going to be...literally afraid. She did not file things with the courts, she did not follow up on petitions. She wasted years and money. Wish I would have never met her. I had to fire her and start again. My new lawyer couldn’t believe what I all went through with my x and Debra. This should have been all over and done with. His lawyer was more helpful to me than Debra was! I actually recommended my x’s lawyer to a friend rather than Debra! She doesn’t know the laws, I had to look them up myself! Find someone else, do not hire her.

I wish I could take back having her as a lawyer. She ruined my custody case with my daughter and I lost so much time not being able to see my own daughter becuase debra didn't do any work. She didn't pursue my rights as a father and sat back and did nothing while my time with my daughter went by. Gave me terrible advice that made my case worse. Do not see her if you care about your children and want things to happen. She did nothing but cost me thousands while the mother got away with such terrible things. I went to another lawyer and he got things done right away and within months my relationship with my daughter was so much better. Stay away from debra!

Don't waste your time and money with this lady. She takes your money and runs. Communication skills are piss poor and she does not give you any advice. Wasted thousands on my divorce. Finally got it finalized after I canned her ass and got another lawyer.

Debra has been handling my husbands custody case for many years now. She's very knowledgeable and gives good advice even though it may not be what we want to hear. She thinks about the final outcome and what will come up in court. The family judicial system has it's flaws but she's always thinking about our finances as this has become quite costly. She is not the greatest at getting back to you when you would like but does follow up when it's needed. I would HIGHLY recommend her as a family lawyer.

Debra is a useless lawyer. All she does is take your money and doesn't do a damn thing. She does not give you any advice. She has absolutely no communication. I had to add read receipts to make sure she was reading my emails. I told her I did not want to go to case conference and she booked one anyways. My last case conference was in January and absolutely nothing has been done. Stay away from this lawyer!!!
