I been through Chris Lavier law services he did 2 trails out of 3 trails by himself and those went positive and successful. He knows what he doing best of his clients to solving the matters. Chris and his team is very helpful and friendly to help you with criminal defense. As I been through my experience with him he help me out the trouble with great advice work and effort he did for me that was great. I recommended him for the best criminal defense lawyer.

Chris Lavier exerted unseemly pressure on me to change my election from a Jury Trial, to a Trial by Judge alone. Judge Barclay added his own pressure, saying "You don't want all the fuss and bother of a Jury." This was coercion.
Lavier was court-appointed to my case as my Trial started. My prior Preliminary Hearing produced vital testimony in Court Transcripts (1200 pages). At the Prelim, attorney Robert Borden elicited a motive for the complaint. Later when I represented myself, I cross-examined police witness Sgt. Simpson, got him to admit he lied, and got the facts from him.
Yet when Lavier came aboard, he refused to read the Transcripts at all. How could he plan to cross-examine at Trial, if he knew nothing of the case?
In long phone calls, Lavier talked ceaselessly, repeating himself, driving me past exhaustion (I have serious physical health conditions). After a few weeks I gave up my case -- and my years of dedication to it -- because my attorney could not focus.

Mr. Lavier is an amazing lawyer. He handled some matters for my son, and we were very happy with the outcome. As a respected member of the bar he has made a lot of contacts--has made a lot of friends. As a consequence he is able to often work out positive plea deals for his clients. I would heartily recommend him as a defense lawyer.

Chris is very knowledgeable however he is near impossible to reach! When I finally did reach him the conversation was always rushed & felt I was interrupting something far more important. I was from out of province & set up appointments (both by phone&in person) i would be contacted & the appointment would constantly be cancelled; rescheduled & cancelled again. The amount of money I was paying Chris I dont believe I got a quality defense. I believe it was rushed & not prepared as well as it could have been. I believe Chris may be taking on too many clients to give the quality service his clients deserve.

Very friendly and intelligent but good luck getting a hold of him. Very disorganized and not quick to get back to you if he ever does. If you are someone that likes to know what is going on with your case probably not the best choice. His support staff however is amazing and always friendly and helpful

Mr. Lavier helped me through a difficult set of charges. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and educating me about the legal process (not a criticism of the lawyer, but the legal process was lengthy). He was very good at getting back to me, except on one occasion when he had a trial in Alberta. He was very prepared for court. I trust him because the advice he gave me during our first meetings turned out to be what happened.
