In 2010 I hired Mr. Palmer to prepare & file a motion, an order, & supporting documents. Due to his negligence, the motion was never filed. When opposing counsel made me aware of my attorney’s error & I confronted Mr. Palmer he offered numerous explanations for his failure finally blaming it on a “paralegal error.” I was also billed attorney time for a settlement conference for which Mr. Palmer failed to prepare, attended unprepared without properly or professionally representing my interests, & which concluded with unsatisfactory results due to his poor performance. Mr. Palmer refused to credit my account for ANY of the related charges. Since that time I have learned of multiple former clients of his who were similarly mistreated, e.g. Mr. Palmer billed for work that was not performed, did not prepare, & yet continued to bill his clients. For this reason I feel obligated to make others aware of the practices of Mr. Palmer in hopes it may prevent further injury to unsuspecting people.
