I was a client of Krystles, and I transferred my file to another lawyer. 1. Terrible communication 2—excuses for why her work wasn't done 3. It starts strong but does not follow through on the promised work. 4. I was completely prepared for our meetings. She was not prepared and did not seem to look at my file. 5. When I transferred my file, she did not send all the documents to my new lawyer. Filing a complaint with the law society.

Krystle was really helpful and supportive when I separated from my partner. I didn’t know what to do, and she calmly explained some of my options and what I would be entitled to, and different ways to get there. We ended up having a mediation, and Krystle was really prepared for it, which I think helped us settle. I’m so glad to be done and to have that stress behind me. Thank you, Krystle!

Krystle Gill is a highly skilled, competent, and compassionate lawyer. She represented me when I was unexpectedly served with a Family Law Matter Claim seeking child support for my adult children. Krystle effectively took charge of the situation, acting quickly and assertively to file my documents with the court, and to prevent the other party from possibly obtaining a default order.

Krystle was referred to me through a co-worker. She was excellent. I felt she genuinely wanted to help and took the time to listen. She recommended an excellent mediator for my wife and I to use as a starting point. My divorce was complex with multiple real estate properties, investments, pensions and children. She was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. She worked with me step by step through each obstacle to achieve a very fair deal and we avoided going to court. I was greatly disappointed with Krystle, I found she did not stand up for me. She failed to do paperwork properly, which took another lawyer to get it done. She didn't speak up in defence during a FCC despite having a mountain of evidence to support me. I felt that because I was the father she was uninterested in helping, despite the evidence showing I am a good father and am only fighting for split custody. Overall I was incredibly disappointed. There was a great lack of communication and little effort put forth that was apparent to me the client. I felt I had to ask for everything, and was just considered a pay check. I strongly recommend against this lawyer if you are a father seeking help.

Krystle's knowledge of family law is certainly impressive, but it was her professionalism and work ethic that caught my attention. Krystle is great at explaining any process and will tell it like it is. Krystle helped me navigate through a very high conflict divorce with children involved. It can be a very spooky place to be and Krystle was there every step of the way, always looking out for my best interest. Krystle also presents very well in court which is a critical part of the process. I would strongly recommend Krystle if you're facing any family law matter.
Her staff was always spot on, hospitable and friendly. The firm she is working with (Cassels Murray) is a high quality law firm that you will get a sense of on your first visit. Definitely a 5/5 for Krystle.

Krystle is excellent at communication and efficient. She listens to what is wanted and gives good options. Her staff is also excellent and her office is very welcoming and organized. It was wonderful to meet Krystle as several years before I had a lawyer who cost $10,000 and I still didn't get a divorce from the ex. I went to a second lawyer for an opinion and he made me feel so bad and helpless about my situation as the ex had served me papers from out of town and that lawyer gave me the impression I would have to travel off the Island to get some sort of resolution. My sister's boyfriend recommended Murray Cassels as he said they were great - his ex-wife used them against him! After several years of really wanting to be divorced from my ex I am finally going to be free soon and it is all thanks to Krystle! I wish I met Krystle sooner! I went from feeling sad as I walked into her office to feeling optimistic.
