Worst lawyer. She flat out refused to do work for me because "she didn't have time." She would be absent at the beginning of our appointments (charged $ by the hour) When she arrived late to our appointments, she would explain that they were short admin staff, so she had to do all of the photocopying etc for my case HERSELF charging me at HER LAWYER $ RATE instead of finding an admin staff to do it at admin $ rate. Rude. Insubordinate. She gave up completely on my case and just did nothing. But still charged me.

I hired Cynthia Squire as a Family Law Lawyer in 22-23 for my separation. I do not this lawyer. Here is why:-it took her 10 months to issue the first invoice - they tolaled over 5k.
- She failed to respond to the other party's emails resulting in a case conference being filed.
- She left for a 6 week vacation without informing me of her absence.
- Her invoices lacked transparency in reporting time - often lumping 4-5 activies witin the same block of time, making it impossible to know how much time she had doing something.
- She charged me for work that had already been done (case confernce brief) and for work that was never discussed or needed (research paper done by an articling student). y file.
- It took her three months to formulate a writtenresponse to the other partys separation agrement, to find out 2 months later she never sent the email I had approved.
My only regret is not having fired her earlier.
