After two years and $20,000 in legal fees I ended up filing for bankruptcy. My wife received all of the assets, cash from the sale of our home because Heather did not fill out the Homesteaders rights petition correctly, and I received all of the debt. Information was continually forgotten, facts mixed up, and after a collaborative meeting documents were not drawn up to support agreements. I asked Heather to set a court date after the first meeting so we could go directly to trial and she never did. Heather lacks in proper communication skills and does not know how to communicate effectively with clients. Because of my experience with Heather I strongly recommend choosing another lawyer.
