I retained the lawyer to appeal a costs order in 2016. He confirmed in his Retainer Agreement that we had retained him to represent us on our Appeal of a Costs Order. He would endeavour to handle our legal matter in a prompt, effective manner. However, it turned out he failed to file Memorandum of Arguments and abandoned our case and did not tell us the truth. It was too late for us to learn the facts and we lost oppotunity to appeal and the appeal deemed to be abandoned. We have been suffering the opposing party's writ of enforcement and garnishing our bank accounts. He destroyed our family life horrably. It appeared that he closed his law firm some time in 2019. I have a statement of claim against him in court.

I am surprised to see positive reviews. I had Millman as my Lawyer in 2016. I was in custody at remand for 11 months. His assistant basically did all the work. I talked to him twice on the phone, and saw him in person two times in that duration. He wouldn't even give me eye contact in person. Fortunately I am a nobody, so, it must have been warranted. His assistant really was good, though!

So far, so good. Mr Millman is a sharp, intelligent, and well spoken lawyer. He has gone above and beyond and I feel he truly listened to me. I respect Mr Millman and feel he excels in his career because he's in it for all the right reasons. He's fair and just and really stepped up to the plate for me. I have put so much trust in him to right my situation and feel his compassion and strengths really shine bright in the courtroom. Thank you, Mr Millman. I would recommend you in a heartbeat and I thank you for your hard work and for believing in me as much as I believe in you.

I retained Mr. Millman for a judicial review matter. Alex did really good at my judicial review and did his best to fight for me and I was really impressed. After his submissions, he also invited me to speak to the judge, to make sure I would be heard. Alex was very prepared, well spoken, and simply caught the other side off guard, who were confident they were going to win. I strongly recommend retaining Mr. Millman for judicial reviews or any other matters if you want a lawyer with expertise and vast knowledge who will do his best to look after your best interests, and I wouldn't hesitate to retain Mr. Millman again in a heartbeat. Alex is a great lawyer! He got me out of a tough spot when I was being pressed by the crown in a traffic matter, and the crown ended up staying the charge. He also helped me out in other matters where I ended up being successful. If you want a lawyer who will do his best to look out for your best interests, maintains timely communications, and is very knowledgeable in his practice, including constitutional and criminal law, I would STRONGLY recommend Alex.
