Hiring Karen Sanchez to represent me was the best decision I made. From my very first meeting with Karen I knew I made the right decision, from attention to details and thinking out side the box Karen has it all. I have chosen Karen to represent me regarding my termination from the company where I held senior executive position for almost 8 years. I have spoken to several lawyers while choosing my representation, including a partner at a well known downtown firm. Karen provided the best plan of action, and delivered exactly what she promised, including changing the terms of the settlement to meet conditions that were very important to me. Other lawyers told me that it would not be possible to sway company’s position that way, while Karen took time to understand what is exactly that I want and why I want it, then figured out how to make it happen. Karen was extremely helpful with her services to review a new workplace contract. She was very thorough in her review and took the time and care to go over the document with me. She went over each section, explaining in detail all the information and answered any of my questions making sure I understood exactly what was written. Overall I was very satisfied with Karen and her level of detail and ability to easily translate the complicated text to me. She was very personable and made the process very easy. I would highly recommend her services as a lawyer.

I highly recommend Karen. She did an exceptional job representing me and winning my case. She is very knowledgeable with her work. I previously went to a different counsellor who told me I had no chance to win my case which was an employment issue because I was a contractor. I was so upset but somehow I knew I had every right to fight and win the case. I went to check on Payne Law firm and I met with Karen who explained to us, how I have every right to fight with my case. We had to deal with a defamation case by an individual at a company that did not conduct its due diligence before termination. Before you start, determine whether you want to quickly move on with your life or get the truth. Karen was patient and covered the bases well. It was a nervewracking 3 years to get the truth out, but I finally did, and the company realized their mistake. I understood the reasons behind the defamation and I have made my peace. Definitely get Karen as your lawyer after determining if you want a quick result or the truth (more expensive). I'd recommend everyone put aside some money for a surprise situation like this. Companies get away with a lot. Count on Karen to make sure they don't.

I met Karen, by chance in February of 2016, after I was let go from a company that was very abusive. After I had a short consultation with her, I knew she would be the perfect lawyer to take on my case. She is very wise in what she does; she is very selective with words and knows exactly what to do in difficult situations. Every question I asked her, she always had an answer for. I remember Karen telling me at the beginning of the case, she would not recommend I go through with the lawsuit unless it was worth the time/effort & shortly after reading the contract, she told me we would win. Karen helped my father reach a settlement in his wrongful dismissal case against his former employer. After David Yan Payne reviewed our case and strongly felt our human rights had been violated, he wanted to help. He assigned Karen Sanchez to our class-action Human Rights Case after the legal aspects of our case had become too complicated for us to continue on our own. There were nine of us to represent and to say that this was a challenge is an understatement. Ms Sanchez not only got up-to-speed with our case very quickly but she genuinely cared about our plight. I was recruited by a bank out of a stable job with a management services firm where I had worked for ten years. After three weeks on the job I was told that “I was not a good fit”.

I met with Karen Sanchez for a consultation. Although I didn't end up retaining her services, I found her to be extremely patient, kind, professional and compassionate. She made time to hear me out with interrupting and was realistic about expectations. Even though we didn't end up using her she always responded to emails in a timely fashion and offered lots of information and assistance after our meeting. She went above and beyond the call of duty as far as I'm concerned considering we didn't end up using her (only because financial limitations wouldn't allow it). I would consider using Karen in the future and would recommend her to others.
