I found this attorney, who was the GAL involved in my custody case, to be incompetent. It is obvious that she takes on more cases than she is able to handle. She completely halted all work on my case for over a year due to personal reasons at one point. If her situation was such that she was unable to attend to my case, why did she keep taking on more cases? She also was utterly incapable of keeping track of my work schedule and the parenting plan, both of which she had been given many times. Another VERY concerning incident occurred when she signed an order written by opposing counsel that wasn't what was agreed upon. It couldn't be reversed once she signed. She also proved herself to be very wishy-washy. There were several incidents in which she would tell me or my attorney one thing, and then turn around and say something completely opposite to the commissioner or opposing counsel.
