Having never had to seek out legal assistance before my partner and I were very unsure how to find the proper lawyer. We ended up contacting Mitch for assistance and he agreed to meet and discuss our case. Because he does work all over the country it was very easy to meet up with him at a location that was convenient for us. Our legal difficulties were outside of our province and involved individuals with very little contact information. My son was charged with driving under suspension a number of years ago even though he was not driving the car. Mitchell Worsoff accepted the case, accepted my money and also accepted Legal Aid money. We found this out by accident when we went to the legal aid office on another matter. I was finally refunded my money because lawyers can't double bill. To make matters worse, he lost the case which was amazing because my son did not even drive the car. Beware of this lawyer.

Mitchell was referred to me by another of my Lawyers after needing assistance with a serious issue (I say this specifically so you know that others in the field regard him highly). I never thought I would ever need to work with a Crim defence lawyer, but very happy it was Mitchell. He and his staff are very knowledgable and from my impression, are incredibly strong with strategy and analysis of the elements of the situation. My outcome was swift (took only 5 months), and resulted in NO record. I read the reviews on this site myself and knew his services would be a little more costly than the cheaper ones out there, but in a situation like this, the extra little bit is WELL worth it and his guidance made me feel much more positive while going through this process. I have known Mitchell for over 20 years, professionally. Not that I've needed him for all 20 of those years! He's represented me, my cousin and numerous friends. All the outcomes were in our favor. The most serious was my cousin who got charged with impaired causing bodily harm (to his passenger, his best friend). He swerved to avoid a deer and then crashed into a tree. As the charges were serious and he was not impaired, that got dropped but the bodily harm was more difficult. At the end if the day, Mitch assured us he would keep him out of jail and he did. My most recent was for a handheld and Mitch again, assured me it would be fine and it was. I highly recommend Mitchell for anything you may require a lawyer for. He has always appeared in court for me and the one time , he couldn't (due to an out of town arraignment) he let me know well in advance. Mitch doesn't treat clients like clients, he treats you as if you were his own family. Again, I highly recommend Mitchell, 100%.

I have no words for how this firm operates. Very expensive as you are paying a senior lawyers cost but he never shows up to for you. Mitchell will send his associate Jordan to do all the work but Jordan doesn't have much experience to fight complicated cases. They don't look at the file and just wing it through and if you ask questions they around in circles because they haven't even reviewed your file. That was my experience.

I hired Mr. Worsoff for a drug and a fail to comply charge. No matter how dim things would look he would reassure me and my family that he would take care of me. He doesnt treat his clients like numbers he talks and treats you like a friend. After about a year and a half of me thinking the absolute worst possible outcomes he calls me and tells me that all my charges are gone. I would highly recommend Mr. Worsoff to anyone. I cant begin to describe how much Mitchell has helped me out. I had a very difficult case, a DUI and blowing over 80. The worst thing was I was innocent in all of it but no one believed me except Mitchell did and proved my case and had everything dismissed!! For a 1 year and a half I was a nervous wreck not knowing what was going to happen and Mitchell was always positive and calmed me down. This lawyer is not your typical lawyer, he actually cares. He picked up all my phone calls any day of the week and I mean the weekends as well, and if he didn't I would get a call back right away. Mitchell Worsoff strikes me as being a lot smarter, more articulate and more personable than many of his peers. However, don't bother to retain him or his law firm on a legal aid certificate. Although he'll tell that they will represent you under legal aid, what he actually tries to do is to coerce you into retaining the services of his firm outside of legal aid. So Worsoff a typical two-faced lawyer, who cannot be trusted.

I have been a client of Mr. Worsoff for over 12 years and know his work. He is very dedicated and would fight until endlessly for his clients. I just read a negative review about him which was clearly written by his ex-wife who everyone knows to suffer from mental illness and claims to be a "psychic" herself. Worsoff is a good man ad a caring lawyer. This site is bogus and invites non- sense people to write lies and other crap. This lawyer is not right in his head. He told me that he knows psychics who could influence the outcome of my case with their supernatural powers. He told me that he goes to psychics all the time to find out things for his own personal issues. I thought he was kidding. He was NOT kidding. He lost my drinking and driving case after repeatedly telling me that my case had many interesting legal issues. He is highly manipulative and knows what a client wants to hear. I paid him a lot of money that I had to borrow. I now have a criminal record. I am not at all happy with his services. He pretended to be my friend. I should not have been so trusting. I am not just saying all this because he lost my case. He really took me for a ride. Worsoff totally used me. After losing my case he told me that things happen for a reason and I should not feel so down. I never even got a receipt for all the money that I gave him. Stay far away from this man. He cares about money only. That's about it.

I was worried about losing the trial resulting in the gain of 6 demerit points, higher insurance and more evidence the other driver can use against me in civil court if I'm found guilty in traffic court. Took a case that he was not qualified for. Unprepared, unorganized, distracted during trial, did not prep witnesses, did not use witnesses which were key to defence. The case was an easy win. He lost it for us. Also our final Judges decision was given to us 3 months late which denied us the ability to appeal. Sloppy prep work which they including documents that should not have been submitted. Also key documents were omitted and some were "saved" for a big surprise in trial. Turns out they couldn't be used. He advised us was character was a non issue for trial. Judge allowed character to come into play. Very, very disappointed.

Wasted my money with this firm. Mitchell sold me the case to defend my DUI charge, he acted very confidently and I foolishly believed him. The only calls I received we to make payment (in cash, I received a signed business card in return as receipt.) On the day of the trial a lonely assistant (paralegal?) showed up and obviously had no experience. TThough Mitchell said he would be at the trial , he never showed up.
