I have sought the counsel of Karen Chan on two different occasions. On each she provided me good service that was both very effective and extremely efficient. Her service was well oriented towards my best interests and conscientiously approached my file by focusing on providing maximum value on the service provided. She outlined cost/benefit risk analysis of the various options/outcomes. From my first consultation for another matter, I had a good understanding of what reasonable notice I could expect when my employment ended unexpectedly. Karen Chan was able to successfully carry on the negotiation to a fair outcome while maximizing value to me, by being both efficient (in respect to time invested vs. results) and by identifying the point when I would likely be spending equal money on her fees to any increased value that I may get in the settlement.
