Medical Malpractice! I couldn't believe what happened to me. It was one of those cases no one wanted to touch. Too costly, too hard to prove. I contacted five different attorneys and Hait and Kuhn was the only firm who called me back. After telling my story to Lizz, she knew she had to do something. I was so relieved when she agreed to take my case. The more time that passed, the worse my situation became. She never gave up, even when I wanted to. She kept pushing forward. Most of the time I felt helpless and hopeless. She and her staff ( Ali, Deedee, Irena) were always there with their unwavering "don't worry, we've got your back." After three years, I finally have closure and a $1.125 million settlement. My advise to anyone going through something like this is to be patient and let Lizz and Alex do their job Thank you, thank you, thank you! You helped me get my life back.

After more than 3 years, (at no fault of Lizz's) my divorce became final. I can't say enough about Lizz's professionalism and overwhelming knowledge of the legal system. After appearing in court with her several times, it became very evident that she is greatly respected among her peers as well as in the courtroom.
Her memory and re-call is AMAZING- never having to repeat my "story" or conversations that we had discussed months (or years) earlier saved me a lot of money, time and frustration.
It was clear early-on in working with Lizz that she was not the "typical" lawyer, as she was concerned with minimizing MY expenses. For instance, she reminded me several times to email her vs. calling her if at all possible because it was less expensive for me. And when I did email her, she always was so responsive in answering no matter what time of day it was. This is just one example of many where she informed me of ways I could save money in working with her.

Liz and the rest of her staff are top shelf. 27 years in law enforcement and i have found her and her practice to be the best i have ever delt with.
